What ALF is
ALF Studio drafts project-based units for teachers in grades 4 to 8, and keeps the changes you make. It is free to use while it is being tested. [check: say when that might change, or leave it open?]
Your units are yours
Anything you make in ALF stays yours. You can read it, copy it and print it whenever you like, and that stays true whether or not ALF ever charges for anything. ALF keeps a record of your changes to make your next draft better; the privacy policy says exactly what is kept.
Drafts are drafts
ALF drafts units with AI. Every word is yours to change, and the draft is a starting point, not a finished plan. Check anything specific before you use it in class: a named book, a website, a contact, a fact about your town. Where ALF is not sure, the draft says check before use.
Teachers only
ALF is for teachers. Do not put student information into it; there is no place meant for any. Describe groups, not students.
While ALF is being tested
ALF may change, pause or break while it is being tested, and it comes with no promises about availability or about the drafts it writes. If something goes wrong, nothing you saved is deleted, and you can always ask for a copy of your units. [check: keep this honest without sounding alarming; a lawyer may want a fuller version]
